Great weekend!

What a wonderful weekend we had! Saturday the temperatures were in the high 90's approaching 100 and perfect weather for swimming, which we did. These temps make me so glad we have a pool! Started the day off with my church's NPComforts group. We are making placemats this year for our Christmas project for the Meals on Wheels recipients.

But The best part is the shopping! We meet at Hands on Traditions quilt shop and let me tell you, I love it!  Anyway, then made this

 These are key fobs that I am thinking of selling on etsy.
 My sister makes gorgeous jewelry but is terrified to sell anything online, so.....I told her I would open a shop and we would combine our things and hopefully make a sale or two. Hope you are having a good beginning to your week!

A Few Finishes....Sort of

Last week I was really able to sit down and do some serious quilting.  I saw this pattern here and thought it was the cutest little quilt.   I have no babies coming up that I know of but I could not resist.   I might try to sell this one on Etsy as soon as I finish adding the binding.

I did get it quilted Friday and it is just the prettiest thing!

Then I began work on a quilt for my sister for her birthday.   You might remember these blocks?  It now has all it's borders on it and measures a really nice 84x95.   Should fit perfectly on her king size water bed - at least I hope so!   I will post a picture as soon as it is quilted.
